Brothers from the Theta Rho Lambda stood shoulder-to-shoulder with over 100 members of fellow Divine Nine organizations at the 1st Annual D9 Advocacy Day at the VA State Capitol. The D9 came together to raise our collective voices on the issues that matter most to our communities.

From an inspiring panel discussion to a powerful call to action encouraging each organization to engage its members and communities, the day reminded us all what Brotherhood, Sisterhood, and Service truly look like in action. The movement doesn’t stop here; the work continues!

On Saturday, February 21, the brothers of Theta Rho Lambda were honored to participate in Arlington County’s annual Feel the Heritage Festival, a vibrant cultural celebration recognizing Black history and culture in Arlington, Virginia.

This year’s theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” brought the community together to reflect on the legacy, resilience, and enduring contributions of Black Americans.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to uplifting our community, celebrating our rich cultural heritage, and honoring the trailblazers who paved the way.

We celebrate the Arlington community for coming together in the spirit of unity. The Brothers of Theta Rho Lambda are proud to stand in service as we continue the work of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Theta Rho Lambda brothers attended the "Commonweal

Theta Rho Lambda brothers attended the "Commonwealth Coffee" in honor of Black History Month, hosted by U.S. Senators @markwarnerva and @sentimkaine.

This impactful gathering brought together community leaders, organizations, and constituents from across the Commonwealth to celebrate the enduring contributions and legacy of Black Americans. The program featured musical selections from the Hampton University Choir and remarks from Senator Kaine, along with Bro. @repbobbyscott and @repmcclellan.

Black History Month is not only a time for reflection, but it is also a time for renewed call to service, leadership, and advocacy within our communities.

We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this event and we look to continuing our commitment to supporting and strengthening the community we serve.

Brothers of Theta Rho Lambda joined nearly 50 Alph

Brothers of Theta Rho Lambda joined nearly 50 Alpha Brothers from across the Commonwealth in Richmond for Alpha Day at the Virginia State Capitol.

The day included meaningful conversations with members of the House of Delegates and the State Senate, reinforcing Alpha’s commitment to leadership, advocacy, civic engagement and public service.

The program featured remarks from distinguished Alpha Brothers and public servants, including Speaker of the House Don Scott, Delegate Alex Askew, Delegate Michael Feggans, and Secretary of Health and Human Resources Marvin Figueroa. Additional speakers included State Senator Aaron R. Rouse, State Senator Angelia Williams Graves, Delegate Nicole Cole, and Delegate Margaret Angela Franklin.

United in purpose, the men of Alpha Phi Alpha continue to make our presence felt where decisions are made by shaping policy, empowering communities, and leading with purpose.
